So I turned 30 years old a few months ago and rather than going through a depressed state I was thinking really hard of what I'm going to do the next decade of my life. I achieved so much in my twenties such as moving out of my moms house, getting married, have two children and began my career working in the most fabulous work environments. Great husband, great kids, great job... So what's next? That can't possibly be all that I'm capable of. After two months of giving it some thought my husband and I decided to put our brains together and decided to put on our own reptile show. Now as a background, he's been a reptile handler and breeder for an extremely long time and has created a good name for himself in the industry. So why not combine both of our strengths and work together.
I have to say that it's a lot of work but I can honestly say that I LOVE IT! It allows my husband and I to connect on an entirely different level. That's mainly what makes me so enthusiastic about it. Getting that first payment in the mail put a smile on my face, too. It is really looking like it's going to be a huge hit.
This is just the beginning. I plan on using this blog as my diary through my 30's so I can look back at my experiences and adventures.
